Baking Instructions for Regular and Free Sample Food
EASY INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEAL PREP -> BAKING
Makes approximately 2 - 8x8 cake pans or 12 - 18 muffins
• 4 cups Raven’s Ridge K9 Shine Dry Mix
• 1 /4 lb of raw (uncooked) meat (Protein choices - Beef, Bison, Duck, Turkey, Chicken, Lamb, Rabbit, Wild game)
• 2 eggs
• 2 tablespoons Sunflower, safflower, or coconut oil (ONLY)
• 3 tablespoons of raw honey can be added raw when feeding
• 2.5 cups of water (less water if you use fruits and veggies with higher water content)
• 1 Cup fresh or frozen, raw fruit of your choice listed below (DO NOT Puree or pre-cook)
• 1 Cup fresh or frozen veggies of your choice listed below (DO NOT Puree or pre-cook)

To cook and prepare your FREE SAMPLE cut the ingredients above in half and follow the regular baking instructions. A sample will provide one individual 8x8 cake pan or 12 Muffins.
• Hand mix raw meat (ground or chunky option if you prefer), add eggs, choice of oil, and honey.
• Add K9 Shine dry mix, 1 cup of your choice of selected veggie and fruit portions, add waster and blend well. • Consistency should resemble meatloaf, not runny/soupy should stick together
• Portion your mixed ingredients out into nonstick baking pans
• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and bake for 60-80 minutes (until firm).
• Let cool completely before packing in air tight containers or freezer baggies.
**NOTE: Traditional baking pans tends to stick we recommend greasing the pans with small amount sunflower oil prior to baking. Typically our customers use silicone non stick pans (see pics below for reference).
Our baked K9 Shine can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze baked portions and thaw as required. As an alternative you have the option to add raw fruits, veggies or additional protein when serving meals as a treat. The portions can also be prepared ahead of time, mixed and frozen ready to cook, just thaw and bake. Contact us for additional prep ideas.
